Windows XP RTM (2600.xpclient.010817-1148) Bugs

Windows XP RTM telephone activation bug (has the two digits at the end of the Installation ID), either resulting in zero-day activation after install on current date or making it almost unusable after 30 days.

BSOD when attempting to launch some software made for Windows 2000 and Windows XP SP1. (even though complied from VC++ 2005/VC++ 2008) on Windows XP RTM.

"Application configuration is incorrect" error when running to run on some applications and installers made for Windows 2000 and Windows XP SP1 (even though complied from VC++ 2005/VC++ 2008).

Note: Virtual PC 2007 SP1 worked fine on Windows XP SP1 for me.
